However, due to the complexity of the constantly evolving technology landscape, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device on every network. We encourage customers to inquire about a sample IMEI if they are unsure about compatibility. We will hold that particular phone for 72 hours. If you decide to make the purchase, please include the referenced IMEI at checkout.
It is important to note that carriers may have different policies regarding device compatibility. While some carriers have a bring-your-own-device program and allow customers to insert their sim card in any network-compatible device, others do not allow phones on their network that were not originally purchased from them. Some carriers may also consider AOSP based devices to be a breach of its end-user agreement. Therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to confirm compatibility with their carrier before purchase.
Opinion on Compatibility: Based on our experience, Verizon, T-Mobile, and its subsidiaries such as MetroPCS have been more receptive to customer device freedom, whereas AT&T and its subsidiaries have been less receptive. We personally use T-Mobile service on our devices.
Included/Bundled Services Disclaimer: The services and features, whether free or paid, available on Jack Tel devices are strictly non-transferable. These services and features, regardless of their pricing model, are exclusively intended for utilization on Jack Tel devices and are expressly prohibited for use on any non-Jack Tel hardware or third-party devices. It is imperative that you refrain from employing Jack Tel services and features on hardware not provided by Jack Tel.
Please be aware that free services are subject to expiration without prior notice. Both free and paid services are offered without warranties or guarantees of any kind. These tools are provided with the primary aim of minimizing data exposure to prominent technology companies. They are often crafted using a combination of open source systems, which, regrettably, can experience occasional malfunctions.
It is incumbent upon customers to take responsibility for safeguarding critical data by generating backups on external platforms. In cases where data is mission-critical, the onus rests on the customer to implement appropriate backup measures.

Abuse: At Jack Tel, we strive to provide privacy-based services to our users. However, this privacy is dependent on the responsibility of our end-users. By using our services, you agree not to abuse or misuse them in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging in any activity that:
- Exceeds the usage limits established by us, including bandwidth or storage limits.
- Free VPN connection bandwidth is limited to normal non-video streaming use. Free Users are allowed a monthly limit of 20 GB, which should suffice for normal web browsing, audio streaming, email, updates, and idle time. Premium users are limited to the bandwidth offered with each package.
- Exceed allowed bandwidth. Video streaming via Free VPN is strictly prohibited on our networks as bandwidth on privacy-focused servers is expensive.
- Involves sending spam or unsolicited messages, including but not limited to bulk commercial messages and marketing materials.
- Involves hosting or storing any illegal, pirated, or infringing content, including but not limited to copyrighted materials, trademarked materials, or materials that violate any laws or regulations.
- Involves using our services for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
If we determine that you have violated this policy, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services without notice. We also reserve the right to report any illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.
By using our services, you agree to comply with this abuse and misuse policy. Any violation of this policy may result in the suspension or termination of your access to our services.
